The Controller may be bypassed or reset
at an exit point by entering a 3- to 7-digit
code at the keypad.

Status Indicator Condition

Power ON, Ready Mode

Flashing Green/Red + Beeping tone Bypass Mode

Investigate; reset alarm

Escorting Residents (Bypass)

Bring the resident to the exit, ensuring that he or she is not in the detection zone.

Enter the on the keypad.

Press on the keypad.

Escort the resident through the exit.

Note: There are three automatic timers enabled by the system when the bypass function is activated:

Bypass Timeout:

You have 10 seconds to enter the detection zone after the bypass code is entered. If no

tag enters the zone within the 10-second period, the bypass is terminated.

Once the tag enters the detection zone, you have 90 seconds to transport the resident through

the zone before the alarm is activated.

After the tag is through the zone or the door closes, the system automatically resets itself in 8 seconds.

Reset an Alarm

• Enter the on the keypad and press .

Clear or Correct an Entry

• To clear or correct an entry, press on the keypad.

Zone Location

Up to 6 zones can be displayed on

the annunciator. These zones are

usually labelled during installation.

RESET Button

Silences an alarm, and resets the

system if the Reset Output is con-

nected to the Door Controllers. All

alarms in the system are reset.

(The system can only be reset if no

tags are in the detection zone).

Status Indicator

Adjacent to each identified zone

on the panel is a Status Indicator

that flashes either red or yellow to

provide a visual alarm.

Audible Alarm

Two distinct audible alarm tones are

generated when a tag enters the

detection zone ; one when the door

is open and the other when the door

SILENCE Button

Silences the audible alarm, even

with a tag in the zone. The Status

Indicator continues to flash until the

alarm is investigated.

To silence the audible alarm, press

. Note: The audible

alarm is silenced, but the RED indi-

cator continues to flash.

To reset the audible alarm, press
